Wild Women Workshop - Exploring the possibilities in making original collage is endless. Jennifer will lead you through the steps of making some basic collage and move into more extensive layers. All of this will provide you with a collection of papers to create a variety of art pieces. The class includes a variety of ways to use textural effects and create more interest in your piece. We will concentrate on Jennifer's "Wild Women" class. She provides a template of the face, so no drawing skills are required. Surprisingly, each Wild Woman will differ from everyone else’s in the workshop! "I love all of the interacting of the artists as the workshop ensues. There’s always lots of laughter and fun! I will also share ways to incorporate your collage into different art pieces. Bring your creative self and be ready for a lot of fun!" - Jennifer Stone

SUPPLY LIST

• 1 full sheet of #300 watercolor paper. any brand. (can be split in half).
• 1 large 22 x 30 approx support board.
• 1 half sheet support board.
• Tracing paper large roughly 15 x 22.
• Acrylic paint a variety of colors. I use golden fluid acrylics.
• Include titanium white and carbon black matte gel or matte medium any brand and an old flat brush to apply it.
• Pop up Kleenex.
• Black and white paint 8 oz each (cheap is fine for this).
• Scissors.
• Peel and stick fun foam sheets (Walmart).
• 4 quart size zip lock bags
• 4 foam pro trim rollers (Menards)
• Stamps and stencils you may have.
• Molding paste.
• An old credit/hotel key card
• 1-2 pkgs of white gift tissue (Like Hallmark brand).
• 6 kitchen size plastic garbage bags, not the stretch type
• water containers, include one that is larger, approx. 6 in X 6 in or larger.
• 2 inch foam brush.
• 3 inch brayer.
• Fine mister water bottle
• kneaded eraser and pencil.
• Acrylic inks if you have them.
• I like to do some mark making with watercolor pencils and caran d’ache crayons so if you have anything else you’d like to use, this is the time to experiment!
• Jennifer will provide the deli paper to make your collage.
