This two-day workshop will be at the Hamilton Count Art Center. Yupo and Other Cool Surfaces will be taught in Sandy's exhuberant and fun loving style.

Sandy is a longtime member of the Watercolor Society and the Chairperson for the 2008 Juried Exhibit.

In Yupo and Other Cool Surfaces yupo paper will be used for monotypes, florals and straight painting. Sandy will also use Aquarius as well demonstrate painting on a collages surface. You will want to be a part of this exciting workshop!

This three-day workshop will be in beautiful Nashville, Indiana. It will cover Painting with Paper and Painting Wet with Dry Media, two techniques that Peggy calls "accidental".

In Painting with Paper, paper is used as the support, as well as a tool and a medium. Painting Wet with Dry Media is a technigue used to apply dry media to a wet peice of paper.

Peggy Brown is a Cardinal Fellow in the Watercolor Society. The primary purpose of this workshop is to encourage the student to explore and try new techniques while keeping in mind the truly imnportant elements of a painting: design, drawing and originality.

Each WSI member is asked to recruit new members (never having held a WSI membership) to join WSI. Each new member you recruit will sign the Membership Application “Referred By” line with your name. The new member will be added to your total. At the end of 2008, the person with the most recruits will have the opportunity to choose to attend any one 2009 Workshop at NO CHARGE! This is a great opportunity to learn, meet other artists, and grow yourself and WSI. The lowest cost of recent and future workshops is over $225, so it is a wonderful prize.
